It was my first visit to the hospital, and everything went relatively smoothly. Rundown: - 7.00 a.m.: Common registration started. This is to get a queue number for everything else. (Queue was already building up from 6.15 a.m. I reached at 6.00 a.m. but only joined the standing queue at 6.30 a.m.) - 7.30 a.m.: Completed first-time patient registration at a separate counter and obtained a queue number to see your doctor. (Good thing is, the registration can be done on behalf of the patient, so the patient does not need to wake up and queue so early.) I was told to wait for the clinic nurse to come at 8.30 a.m., so I went back to my hotel. - 9.00 a.m.: I returned to the hospital, took a photo of the patient, and waited not too long to see the doctor (because I got an early queue number). - 10.00 a.m.: Finished seeing the doctor. - 11.00 a.m.: Completed the payment and medicine collection at the Island Retail Pharmacy. It was a little confusing at first. When I made an appointment call a month earlier, the nurse told me to come at 8.30 a.m. for registration. Apparently, it started much earlier. Gratefully, all the staff on the ground were very helpful and friendly. Dr. Lim Thien Thien was particularly patient and attentive, spending around 20 mins with us. He was thoughtful too, adjusting his advice according to our situation.
