I brought my son to Columbia Asia Hospital Bukit Jalil on Tuesday, March 19th, due to an abscess. After initial outpatient treatment in the morning, he was admitted on the same day for a right proximal medial thigh abscess. The process was swift, from obtaining the GL from AIA insurance to him entering the operating theater at 5 pm. Dr. Zamri, the Consultant overseeing his treatment, explained all procedures and kept my son calm throughout, particularly during dressing changes. Dr. Nagappan, the anesthesia consultant, provided thorough options for my son. The entire surgical process, from pre-operation to post-operation, was excellent. I'm grateful to the attentive staff who looked after my son during his 4-day, 3-night stay. The facilities are in excellent condition and impeccably clean, as they are being newly launched. The in-patient meals were satisfactory; my son enjoyed them. I hope Columbia Asia Hospital Bukit Jalil continues to uphold its exceptional service and standards in the present and future. I undergo appendicitis surgery over here in Columbia. I will breakdown my experience from section to section. (1) Parking and security 5 stars for this. Ample spaces of parking with good security. Stay in patients will get a special parking rate. I got free parking for staying 2 nights 3 days here. (2) Registration counter Process is quick and easy as I was guided by the friendly staff here. 5 stars for this. (3) Emergency room I was first diagnosed by Dr Marvin & he advised me that I am required to stay in the hospital for further check. AIA took quite some time to release the GL letter. Total time waited to be in the ward is 4 to 5 hours. Something which can be improved, if you require the patient to do urine test, please give the patient some water to drink. 4 stars rating here. (4) Ward - 2 bedded room Overall it is a new hospital this I would say, everything looks brand new including toilet and bed! However, it would be appreciated if the team of nurse monitor visitors for adults who are warded in here. I got very disturbed by one of the patients who have 3 visitors when she got warded at 4am. The 3 visitors are very inconsiderate that they have loud discussion & played their phones. I have to get up despite my pain and inform the nurse that there were people in the ward. 2 stars for this ... Disappointed (5) My surgery doctor Dr Naga (Anaesthetic specialist) & Dr Ruhi (Surgeon) came to me and told me I need immediate surgery at 2pm. The surgery went well as I did the 3 key hole surgery to remove the appendicitis. 5 stars for the success for the surgery (6) Normal care ward Understand that I have allergy in certain medications, the dr didn't mention to monitor me after I consume the new medication after my surgery. I had an allergy reaction that I need to drag my tired and painful body down from the bed to inform the nurses I had discomfort. Dr Naga was quickly informed and he came to the rescue. 3 stars for this. (7) Food choices for warded patients As their canteen is not ready, the food choices are very limited. The food is catered from other branches and delivered here. I got mine, food was prepared on 20/6/24 and preheated and serve to me on 27/6 -29/6/24. Abit dissatisfied as the choices are mainly spicy meals (except for chicken porridge). 1 star for this Overall, here require more time to develop to be able to serve the community.

My 1st day here was stressful due to an irresponsible neighbour (2 bedded-room sharing) but things turned into an almost perfect stay for us. We are grateful for Mr Mani to assure us of better service which he did, wonderfully. A big thanks to this team here and we like what we saw here. You have win us over. Normally hospital food is rather bland and unassuming, but not in this hospital. Their chef has acknowledged our feedback concerning 'heavily salted' and since then, the meals are absolutely tasty, flavourful and we were just shocked that it comes out so well. Another round of applause to the Catering Team for whipping up Five Star Western Meals on a daily basis, which is our favourite! Just wished this hospital to be consistent in your service for all upcoming patients and your team-members is key to your success. Do take care of your young workforce. A big thanks to - Mr Mani, Puan Siti, Ms Ranveer, MD6 team, Catering Team, Housekeeping Team for ensuring our bins and toilet is cleaned. Cannot name so many names here but in my letter of gratitude to Mr Mani has said it all. I will be back to check on you guys! To the HR Team, pls reward the Nursing Team of MD6. Their hard work deserves a big pat on their already heavy shoulder. Once again, fullest respect and love to Dr Khoo for your wonderful work. Thank you to Dr Tan (anaesthesia) for your right dosage and excellent intubing to a patient with thyroid. No pain at all once woken up from op. Another expert in this hospital. To the other Dr Nagapan (anaesthesia), your assessment of her thyroid and explanation prior surgery was very well explained despite the nervousness during surgery day. But, you did it! Hooray! Thanks to all, we are leaving here after 4 nights and will miss your smiles and friendliness. God Bless!

Your dedication, compassion, and professionalism gave us great comfort and reassurance during a challenging time. Excellent guidance and assistance from Ms Sobeni (Physio) she have been given me lot of good advices on the recovery and shout out to Mr Amirul (Physio) as well for all of his assistance and guidance through out my ACL recovery at week 7 and I’m truly blessed with the service offered by everyone from the Physio Team. The best service given by the staff nurse during my admission and to the F&B team which prepare such a wonderful balance nutrition food for me through out the stay. Mainly thank you to Dr Muru (Orthopaedic) with a smooth and wonderful ACL surgery that I have went through, you are the best.
