To start it off, customer service was crucial. First time being self-admitted to a hospital, I was unsure which doctor to see. Nowadays, it’s a hit and miss on treatment depending on the rapport between patient and doctor. Trial and error is a luxury I cannot afford. So, I called Customer Service, and I asked for a doctor who may understand my health condition. I’ve seen a GP before already. Zafira took my call and she followed up with nurses after nurses until she was recommended Dr. Sathappan. She was friendly to speak to and reassured me that the doctor understood my health condition and is willing to get me treated. Yay! Came in for the check-up, and I met Zafira again! It was really nice to put a cheerful face to the voice on the telephone. Thanks, Zafira! When I arrived, the admin staff who checked me in was this dashing young chap. All smiles and he even proactively carried my clothes bag after the IV line was inserted. First try! Kudos to the emergency room staff. Next highlight was the meals. You scan a QR code to order and you have to order early. There’s a set time before the next meal menu is automatically fixed for you, if you fail to order. I didn’t know this. (Pictures below for all hospital foodies.) The nutritionist here knows how to choose ingredients which are healthy and tasty! It’s not home-cooked but it is damn fine when it comes to nutrition and fulfilling hunger. You won’t be hungry. I love the breakfast omelette! 🍳 Nurses care were overall excellent but minor miscommunication between different shift was seen. I didn’t like the afternoon shifts. Personally, I like the night and morning. But all 3 shifts did their jobs perfectly. Just some things like whether this medication is correct or the timing of medication, to saline or not to saline, and minor inconsequential issues. Dr. Sathappan himself is efficient, calm, and professionally friendly. Very quick consultations, very knowledgeable, and decisive. Thank you to nurse Safurah/Syafirah (!). Sorry for misspelling your name. You were quick and managed my expectations for the discharge and rescheduled my appointment really quickly. Thanks! 🙏 Lastly, a mention to Uma Devi for asking if there was any feedback to provide. Thank you for extending the courtesy of the Customer Service team and having a brief chat with me explaining the GL, what to ask Finance, how to get my parking validated, and what to expect in a follow-up. I feel that customer service really impacted my stay from start, and end. Both from the actual CST itself and the nurses. 🙂🙂

I recently visited Columbia Asia Hospital Puchong for my chronic cough and was under the care of Dr. Jurina, a respiratory specialist. I am incredibly grateful for her professionalism and dedication. She provided very clear explanations and genuinely cared for my well-being. It’s rare to find a doctor who is so compassionate and thorough, and I truly appreciate her from the bottom of my heart. I would also like to thank Dr. Subra (ENT surgeon), Dr. Kamal (orthopaedic surgeon), and Dr. Muzammil (general surgeon), who were indirectly involved in my treatment. Their expertise and teamwork made my experience even better. A special thanks to all the nurses at the hospital as well. Their kindness, patience, and attentiveness made my experience much more comfortable and pleasant. Overall, I highly recommend Columbia Asia Puchong for anyone seeking excellent medical care. The team here is amazing, and my experience has been nothing short of exceptional.
