Dato' Dr. Bavanandam Naidu Gopal is a distinguished Obstetrician, Gynaecologist, and Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist with extensive leadership experience in Malaysia. He previously headed the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Hospital Sultanah Bahiyah and holds an Honorary Fellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine from the Royal Women's Hospital, Melbourne. A recognized specialist by the Ministry of Health, Malaysia, he has led national committees, served as President of the Perinatal Society of Malaysia (2013/2014), and is a founding member and treasurer of the Maternal Fetal Medicine Society of Malaysia. His expertise spans comprehensive pregnancy care, surgical procedures, and women's reproductive health, and he is currently a visiting Consultant and Clinical Professor at AIMST University. He has also contributed to scientific presentations, research, and the development of national guidelines for obstetric care.
