I just had my 2nd child delivered at KPJ under Dr Wendy Loh and her team the past week. Although we also experienced the same high standard of care from the O&G team during my 1st delivery, my husband and I are yet again impressed and thankful for the expertise and care shown onto us this time round by the midwives and nurses throughout my admission. A main difference I noticed was the initiative taken to encourage breastfeeding before and after I delivered my child. During my post delivery follow up with Dr Wendy, I expressed my concerns with breastfeeding and was referred to one of their nurses. A special mention to nurse Masitda who managed to relief me of my discomfort and took the time to answer all my concerns. It is indeed a great initiative taken by the hospital as I understand not many private hospitals in Kuching provide services and support to mothers who experience difficulties and challenges with breastfeeding. We highly recommend the O&G department to those planning to have their babies delivered in the private sector in Kuching.

Alhamdulillah, gave birth on 23/11/24 at KPJ. Thank you Dr. Wendy and team, and the nursing team as well. They were very helpful. The nurses were very attentive; they even offered to assist me to the toilet to change my pad after delivery ❤️. They also taught me about proper breastfeeding techniques. It was very helpful. Truly the best 👍🏻.
