Neurosurgeon Dr Kantha Rasalingam / Prince Court Hospital my experience with Dr. Kantha has been a huge disappointment. i have a background in Physiotherapy (which i did not share with him) and i was referred to him via emergency department at prince court hospital with a lower back injury. My diagnosis was that i have multiple prolapsed discs etc... but that there is no need for surgery. i have a few allergies to pain killers which made him comment "that i will be very difficult to treat" (thanks that is psychologically very empowering). he suggested that surgery is not the way to go but alternative treatment like physio or going to a Chiropractor would be helpful. He refused to recommend a physiotherapist or chiropractor and he does not know a Osteopath either he would be able to recommend which i found is already a very bad sign as every specialist, dealing with orthopaedic and spine issues especially, should have a reliable physiotherapist in the team. He charged more than RM 300 for just looking at my MRI but did not really listen to my history of surgeries which on a holistic basis plays a major role in understanding the overall problem. i was then given some common nurofen pills for my pain and was asked to come back in a week. Huh? So which Physio should i go to ? what specific exercises should i do for now? what positions/movements etc can i do to manage the immediate pain? NO ANSWER FROM THIS MAN! so i asked if he can give me a referral to a physio and osteopath but he refused to give me a referral to a osteopath as "this is not what he stands for". he said i need alternative treatment but osteopathy (the most effective form of structural alignment) is not "what he stands for" when i sincerely questioned him if he thinks that osteopathy would be actually bad for me or why he won't refer me for this treatment (which i need for my health insurance to cover the cost of the treatments) ? he offered me, without further explanation a full refund of his fees and sent me home.... IT IS TIME THAT PEOPLE LIKE THIS GET MORE REVIEWS as this will help others to be able to find a specialist who actually cares much faster. Im living in Kuala Lumpur for more then 25 years and this was the second attempt to go to Prince Court Hospital... I'm cured and will from now stick to Gleanegales Hospital

The customer service was excellent. The staff were helpful & knowledgable. Dato Dr Kantha explained the treatment so well, and the plan for the treatment were acceptable as per my condition. Overall, everything was good.
