Worst service. It’s been nearly 4 hours I have been waiting for my turn to get an ultrasound done. Booked an appointment for a specialist, there was 1.5months waiting. When the days came for appointment. Yesterday after I am here they say it’s first come first, after waiting for 2.30 min they said You need a reference letter, even though it’s a follow up. Let it be for adult or with kids, same service. Yesterday came for a pediatrician too Doctor was suppose to come at 12pm came at 2.30, my baby kept crying

Deeply Disappointed – A Traumatizing Experience at a Time That Should Have Been Joyful This was our third time at this hospital — our first two daughters were born here, and we returned hoping for the same level of care. What we got instead was the most shocking and disheartening experience we’ve ever had. No improvements in years. The rooms are still outdated, with worn-out furniture and an unpleasant, musty smell. No signs of renovation or basic upkeep — just decay. Unsafe and unhygienic environment. My wife was taken for surgery through a corridor under active construction, with ladders, dust, and no safety protocols whatsoever. She was also brought back with our newborn through the same hazardous path. How is this acceptable for a mother post-surgery — or worse, a newborn’s first exposure to the world? Absolutely no regard for patient rest or recovery. The very next day, the floor was echoing with loud drilling and construction work. My wife — who just gave birth — was trying to rest, only to be startled awake by the unbearable noise. We were never informed this would be happening. Disrespectful and rigid billing practices. Even after informing the hospital about our card limit and having prior history there, they demanded an upfront RM17,000 or they wouldn’t proceed with surgery — despite the surgeon agreeing we could top-up later. The delivery ended up costing RM20,000 — for what exactly? Dusty hallways and zero peace of mind? The only saving grace was our incredible doctor, pediatrician, and anesthetist — truly compassionate professionals who deserved a far better hospital to work in. I never imagined we’d leave a hospital faster than planned because of the mental toll it took on my wife, adding to her postpartum distress. This hospital needs to seriously rethink its priorities — because no amount of skilled doctors can make up for a system that’s failing mothers and newborns when they’re most vulnerable.
