Dato' Dr Mohamed Ali Bin Abdul Khader is a pioneering Nuclear Medicine & PET-CT Specialist, renowned for establishing Malaysia's first PET-CT services and the Nuclear Medicine Division at Penang Hospital. With extensive expertise in diagnosing and treating diseases, particularly cancer, using radioactive materials, he also pioneered therapeutic nuclear medicine, including high-dose iodine treatment for thyroid cancer. His national leadership includes coordinating Ministry of Health services and spearheading postgraduate training, while internationally he serves as an IAEA Expert Consultant.
