My wife recommended Datuk Dr to have my snoring problem check. I initially thought my snoring was only due to my weight and I didn't think I need to have it checked by a specialist, but it turned out that it was due to my deviated septum, tonsils and nasal turbinate. Before the surgery, I was always tired even though I was sleeping more than 8 hours, and it got worse when I worked night shift. Datuk Dr explained that it's connected to my snoring/sleep apnea problem. Days before my surgery, Nurse Ain and Maya were keeping us updated and informing us all the pre and post-surgery things that we need to do or prepare for, and on the day itself, all staff of Taman Desa Medical Center was really accommodating with all of our request/concerns. I am writing this review 2 months after the successful surgery and all I can say is that it was all worth it, I can sleep 3x better now, waking up feeling energized, snoring is still there but reduced to around 70-90% as my wife confirmed. I can breathe so much better, and I don't feel any blockage unlike before. Datuk Dr was very professional in addressing all my concerns from the initial checkup, sleep test, surgery until the post-op checkups. We are really thankful we went to Datuk Dr for my surgery, and I would recommend him for anyone who needs help, again thank you Datuk Dr Balwinder, Dr Anesthesiologist, Nurse Maya and Ain and the whole Taman Desa Medical Center.

We would like to extend our appreciation to the entire medical team who attended to my 86 y.o. father during his recent surgery and hospitalisation. Medical Officer - Dr Wong who first attended to my father, elevated a lot of our stress by patiently answering not only to all our burning questions but also explained the medical procedure, cost estimate and post surgery care. Anaesthetist - Dr Lai for his effort in communicating with my hard hearing father in Cantonese. Thank you for ensuring my father is safe in the OT given my father's age and degenerative spine which poses anaesthetic challenges. Last but not least, to the Nursing team at Level 2, thank you for being emphathetic, helpful, cheerful and generous in sharing with us to ensure continuity of care.
