My recent experience at KPJ Ampang Puteri was nothing short of a nightmare. The level of incompetence and negligence displayed by the staff was beyond infuriating and has left me utterly appalled. The primary issue was with Dr. Sakinah, whose behavior was utterly unprofessional. She did not bother to provide a clear explanation of my diagnosis. Instead, she expected me to ask probing questions as if I were a medical professional myself. This complete lack of communication and disregard for my need to understand my health condition is utterly unacceptable. A doctor’s duty is to ensure the patient is fully informed, and Dr. Sakinah failed miserably in this basic aspect of care. To add insult to injury, the hospital failed to provide some of the scheduled meals. How can a hospital, a place dedicated to care and recovery, skip meals for its patients? This is a fundamental failure that shows a shocking lack of organization and a blatant disregard for patient welfare. It's beyond comprehension that a hospital would overlook such a basic necessity. The nursing staff were slow, unresponsive, and clearly incompetent. On one occasion, my IV drip dried out, and I had to wait for hours before it was replaced. This kind of neglect is not just inconvenient—it’s dangerous. The nurses' slow response time and lack of attention could have led to serious health complications. Their behavior was absolutely unacceptable and exemplifies a critical failure in patient care. The post-hospitalization check-up was the final straw. My appointment was scheduled for 9 AM, yet by 11:45 AM, the doctor had still not arrived. With 18 people ahead of me, it was clear that the hospital's scheduling and time management were abysmal. This complete disregard for patients' time and well-being is infuriating and indicative of a deeply flawed system. The sheer incompetence in managing appointments shows a total lack of respect for the patients. KPJ Ampang Puteri is a disgrace to healthcare. From the appalling lack of communication and basic patient care to the inefficient and disrespectful handling of post-hospitalization appointments, this hospital fails on every conceivable level. I strongly advise anyone considering this hospital to stay far away. Patient care should be a top priority, and KPJ Ampang Puteri is a catastrophic failure in this regard. This experience has been infuriating, distressing, and wholly unacceptable.

Yesterday, I went to KPJ Ampang Puteri for a thyroid consultation. I met Dr. Sakinah, and she asked me to wait while she argued with her accountant. I was fine with that at first. However, before I could finish explaining, I noticed she seemed moody and kept interrupting me. I had come in the morning and only got to see her at 4 PM. Upon entering, she said, 'Hold on, I need to argue with this stupid accountant of mine.' I was shocked. I then asked for her opinion on whether I could be admitted for thyroid surgery. She asked me if I was serious about wanting to be admitted. I replied that it depended, as I ideally wanted surgery. Lately, I've been experiencing severe shaking, significant weight loss, difficulty breathing, and a rapid heart rate even when resting. She then seemed to pressure me, saying I was overly eager to be admitted. My intention was to be admitted because my outpatient panel hasn't been renewed, but I still have an inpatient panel. This way, if I needed an ultrasound or blood tests, I could try to use my inpatient panel. That's why I requested admission. I wasn't asking her to operate on me immediately. Besides, if she had said it wasn't possible and I needed further consultation, I would have been fine with that. Afterwards, I coughed because I felt my thyroid nodule was obstructing my breathing. Sometimes I push the nodule upwards to make breathing easier. But she simply clarified that I had asthma. However, that cough was due to the discomfort from the thyroid nodule in my neck. I then mentioned that my boss advised me to try admitting myself under the inpatient panel to facilitate claims. My boss also suggested proceeding with surgery if I felt uncomfortable with my thyroid under that panel. But she said, 'My boss knows nothing about medicine, don't try to fool me with your boss's reasons. Do you think I'm a child?' I was taken aback; it was the first time I encountered a doctor with such poor attitude. I just wanted your opinion, not to push you for admission. Then, when I explained about the panel, you accused me of trying to fool you. I don't know if you were in a bad mood because of your accountant's issue or something else. But I think your language was very rude. Even the nurse at the front counter understood my explanation about the panel. But you, as a doctor, seemed to be taking your anger out on your patient, even though I came to you for your opinion and I paid you! I'm so sorry, but I am truly disappointed with Dr. Sakinah.

Arrived at Dr Sakinah’s clinic and specifically I requested for (Hba1C) blood tests; approximately at 0900 am. Managed to see Dr Sakinah at about 1230 (as they were 9 cues before me) guess what the lab did not do the rest (so no results for Dr to review the results)🫣 The response was it is a human error😭 waited another 30 mins (glad they still keep my blood samples) or would it be compromised. Will this tantamount a claim of inconvenience from KPJ Ampang Puteri?! Hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) is
