Dr Hiew Fu Liong

I feel the service here is tip-top, the neurologist Dr Hiew is very attentive to my case, I am glad to receive treatment here. Also, the female radiologist who assisted me during my MRI brain scan. Keep up all the good works!

The hospital facilities are good and luxurious. However, some of the nurses on duty were not very professional. I am also very disappointed with Dr. Hiew Fu Liong from the neurology department. My mother recently sought treatment there. After undergoing an MRI at the hospital, we were told that she was fine and only had vertigo. But just eight days after returning to Indonesia, my mother fell ill again and had to be taken to a hospital here. When the doctors in Indonesia reviewed the MRI results from Sunway, they found a lesion in her brain. In addition, her D-dimer level was found to be high at 2,900. She is now in the ICU at Siloam Hospital. I am deeply disappointed because my mother trusted Sunway and Dr. Hiew Fu Liong for her MRI. Unfortunately, I believe the doctor was not competent, as he failed to detect her condition. As a result, my mother is now in the ICU and has suffered a stroke.

Dr. Hiew Fu Liong has been treating my mother’s Parkinson’s disease since 2021, and we are truly grateful for his care and dedication. He is a doctor with great medical ethics (有医德), always showing genuine concern for his patients. What stands out the most is how he remembers every detail of my mother’s medical history, ensuring that her treatment is always well-tailored and carefully planned. His patience, professionalism, and willingness to listen make us feel reassured at every visit. We would also like to express our appreciation to his personal assistant, who is very helpful and efficient. Any request we send through WhatsApp is always processed promptly and smoothly, making the whole process much easier for our family. We highly recommend Dr. Hiew for anyone seeking a compassionate and experienced neurologist.
