Associate Professor Dr Lim Boon Kiong

Associate Professor Dr. Lim Boon Kiong is an established specialist in Obstetrics & Gynaecology with subspecialty expertise in Gynae-Oncology. He holds an MBBS degree from the University of Malaya and further advanced professional qualification as a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG, London), demonstrating international training. At UMSC, he is entrusted with managing complex gynae cancer cases, bringing both surgical and oncological treatment experience. As academic staff in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology at the University of Malaya, he contributes to training future specialists. He is part of the Gynae Oncology team in the hospital’s quaternary centre, meaning he handles advanced cases, multidisciplinary coordination, and uses up-to-date diagnostic, surgical, and therapeutic techniques.
