Dr Uma Mariappen

Dr. Uma Mariappen is a highly regarded Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist, and Fertility Specialist at Sunway Medical Centre. With over 15 years of experience, she offers comprehensive care in fertility, gynaecology, and obstetrics. Dr. Mariappen earned her MD from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) and her MMED (O&G) from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). She further honed her expertise with a Fellowship in Reproductive Medicine, completed in both Australia and Malaysia. She is skilled in procedures such as laparoscopic surgery and hysteroscopy, and is a member of several professional organizations, including the Obstetrics & Gynaecology Society of Malaysia (OGSM) and the Malaysian Medical Association (MMA).
