I was having major chest pains and was referred to a specialist neurologist named Dr Siva. He didn’t ask about my background and was dismissive in my problems that I was facing. For example, I told him I had a very hectic work schedule which could be the cause of my pains, and he asked in a demeaning way how often I worked - to which I replied 5 days a week but I had night shifts as well. He rebutted and said “you should be lucky, I worked 3 months no break and I’m okay, so you shouldn’t complain at all.” I thought that was extremely insensitive because I am the one having issues, and he made me feel bad because of it and the punchline is that I had to pay for his services while he just dismissed me and didn’t give me any clear actions on what to do. Horrible service from a “senior” neurologist - I don’t recommend him if you have issues, you should go to someone else with a bit more empathy.

I am writing to express my sincerest gratitude and for the exceptional care that my Dad received from Dr. Siva Seeta Ramaiah (Neurologist) during our recent visit to his clinic in SJMC. Shortly after the visit my dad was advised to be hospitalised for further investigations and treatment. My Dad was under his care for 3 days ,and I must say that his expertise, compassion, and dedication to his patients are truly remarkable. From the moment I meet him, I felt at ease and confident in his ability to diagnose and treat my dads condition. His thoroughness and attention to details were impressive, and I appreciated the time he took to explain my dads differentials diagnosis and treatment plan in a clear and concise manner. His professionalism, kindness, and empathy are qualities that set him apart from other medical professionals in the same field. As a patient, it is not often that one comes across a healthcare provider who truly cares about their well-being. His dedication to his patients is truly inspiring. I’m happy to share that his exceptional care has made a significant changes and difference in my dads life. His expertise has given me hope and confidence that my dads condition can be managed effectively. I will continue to recommend Dr. Siva to anyone who requires the services of a neurologist.
