I was a walk-in patient today at 10:30 AM to see the O&G specialist, Dr. Vallikannu. My experience here was bad; I waited for 4 hours to see the doctor, from 10:30 AM until 4:00 PM. Some patients lost their patience. During the consultation, the doctor seemed too rushed. I am unsatisfied with the service. We are paying a high cost for this kind of treatment? Please do something. This was my last visit to this specialist center. The front desk staff was so rude when patients started to complain. I heard them say, "If you're going to be late, don't bother coming here." Many pregnant patients had to wait a long time. There was no compassion for them. I have never had an experience like this before at any specialist center.

Dr Vallikannu is one best thing UMSC had for pregnant ladies. Apart from that the charges is super high compared to other private hospitals. The technology and equipments used is still need to be improved. The facilities is similar to GOV as they are sharing the facilities. There is no Inpatient parking charges so you will be required to excessive parking fees if admitted.

A Heartfelt Thank You to the Amazing Team From the bottom of our hearts, we want to extend our deepest gratitude to the incredible doctors, Professor Dr Vallikannu and nurses (Vijaya, Tamil, Amar, Aqila and Aqma) at UMSC. Their expertise and care brought our little bundle of joy into the world safely. As new parents, we were anxious and full of questions, but the team was always there to guide us with patience and kindness. Every step of the way, they taught us with gentle hands and reassuring words, making our journey into parenthood much smoother than we could have ever imagined. Their dedication to both their patients and their craft is truly commendable. We are forever grateful for the gentle and patient demeanor of every staff member who crossed our path during this special time in our lives. Thank you for not just delivering our baby, but for delivering exceptional care and support. 🌟👶💕 Price is on the high side as Gov hosp would have been RM30 only but here was around 8k for normal delivery. Labour wad was the labour room itself. husbands were allowed to be in the whole time

Bad experience for my daughter in laws delivery. How on earth you don't have a labour room to deliver a baby, she's made to deliver in the ward in PPUM when we registered for UMSC. We are aware that UMSC shares the same OT and other facilities but to deliver in a ward without any privacy is unacceptable. This happened on 10/11/24 morning when my DIL was admitted and to our surprised the doctor said that the labour room is closed for renovation. Why was this not informed to us? She had to deliver in the ward and we were standing outside the ward and can hear all her screaming and pushing and crying, where her mother is heart patient and she's also stressed up and crying for her daughters condition. Not only us the outsiders could also hear her clearly and there's no privacy at all. The doctor Proff Vallikannu was a good Dr and the staffs are very helpful but we cannot accept the hospital condition at all. For a healthy baby with only mild jaundice the bill came up to RM7500.00 + normal delivery RM 5400.00. TOTAL BILL IS RM 12,000.00. where she could deliver in a posh private hospitals Not only that the place is not hygienic at all.because they had foreign workers painting and doing renovation on the 5th floor and they are pushing the babies through and fro from the nursery to the ward. They kept the baby for 6 days and this was the condition. The nursery was hire wire because of the renovation being done with the patients there. Why can't they close the bloody floor and move them to a better floor. We don't deserve to pay RM12,000+++ and be treated worst than a government hospital. UMSC owe an explanation to my son and daughter in law for the stress she when though during her delivery and the charges just for a normal baby which is RM7,000+++. Sadly we really don't know where and how to speak to till people because they are pushing us everywhere. Attached the pictures of the place on that day

I’m a foreign to Malaysia with background of Tamil language speaking. I seeked Dr Vallikannu for my pregnancy phase she is the one who I looked from 2-3 month . She does not seek my routine properly because my son ruled out of heart disease after the child has been born in India. If she could have found and properly medicated I think my child could have been rectified in the pregnancy phase itself. Worst experience and poor attitude after reached to her regard my difficulties situations.
