I had a great experience at the Orthopaedic Clinic at KPJ Damansara 2. Dr. Dzulkarnain took the time to explain my condition thoroughly and clearly during the check-up, which really helped me understand the issue better. I also want to highlight the excellent service by the administrative staff, especially Gauri, who was very friendly and helpful throughout the entire process—from registration all the way to the end of my consultation. Highly recommended for anyone seeking professional and attentive care.

First hospitalization: 1. Nurses in the ICU and Level 7 ward repeatedly confirmed medications with me. I had already WhatsApped my medication list to Dr. Beni, but they still kept asking me. 2. Nurses on Level 7 did not administer medications correctly, giving the wrong dosage, at the wrong time, injecting my insulin while I was eating, delaying my meals by not injecting insulin, and documenting insulin injections in the system when they were not administered. 3. While on Level 7 ward, I informed a nurse about my chest pain, but no further treatment was provided, and I was ignored. 4. Nurses on Level 7 ward and Dr. Beni pressured me to undergo a cardiac echo, even though I had told them about my chest pain. 5. Nurses on Level 7 ward and Dr. Beni threatened me, stating that if I refused the echo, the cardiac angio procedure would not be performed. It wasn't that I REFUSED; I was in pain! Not only was I not given further treatment, but I was also pressured and threatened! How was I supposed to go in that condition?! Didn't they consider the possibility of something bad happening to me if I forced myself to go for the echo?! 5. On the day of the angio, Dr. Beni withdrew and refused to perform the angio on me, even though the insurance had approved it under his name. Another cardiologist had to be brought in, and a new insurance application was required. During the angio, one of my coronary arteries was blocked, and a balloon was inserted into my heart. It is clear that Dr. Beni violated medical ethics, neglected his responsibilities, and endangered my life. Second hospitalization: 1. Dr. Amir/Amri in the emergency department placed a COVID-19 patient near my bed. I am a chronic heart patient with lung problems. At that time, I was also experiencing chest pain and difficulty breathing. Was this in accordance with proper COVID-19 SOP for high-risk patients? When I asked why a COVID-19 patient was placed near me, he rudely replied, "I am not God." Is this the ethics and manners of a doctor towards a patient?! 2. While in the ward, I was instructed to walk around the hospital to supposedly improve my breathing. As a result, I contracted chickenpox and had to stay in the ward for several more days, even though I was already scheduled for discharge. I have chronic heart disease, 7 stents, and bronchitis. Hospitals are certainly filled with viruses, germs, and bacteria. It's easy for me to get infected and acquire additional illnesses. Is this how the hospital seeks opportunities and takes advantage of me as a patient to extract my money and claim my insurance to the maximum? Third hospitalization: 1. I requested to change my menu to bread, butter, and jam (a cheaper option) for lunch and dinner due to my altered sense of taste and lack of appetite. Without sympathy or common sense, I was charged on my bill and forced to pay. 2. I was also forced to pay for costs that were not itemized on the bill. 3. Upon discharge, I was also forced to pay a deposit, even though my insurance does not require a deposit. I refused to pay because during my previous admission (when my insurance did require a deposit), my deposit was not refunded until I followed up with a call. When I refused to pay, the counter staff became angry and argued with me, even though there was an option for me to sign an undertaking form to pay. However, the staff chose to force and argue with a patient! I have reported these issues to the hospital through customer service. However, no appropriate action has been taken, and no satisfactory resolution has been provided. They continue to be defensive and deny my rights as a patient. Extremely unethical and unprofessional! I would give zero stars if possible, but I cannot.
