My stay at Sentosa KL (Maternity Ward) was a good experience. The nurses are loving and the staffs in general are very hospitable. Dr Rangamah was very caring and took great care of my recovery and I always look forward to meet her. She has great life advice too 😂 There are some points of improvement that could have brought me to tick 5 stars but I must say a 4 is already a generous score and I must stress more points goes to my Doctor. My experience and suggestions for improvement: 1. Lack of available rooms despite insurance being approved prior (full house at times totally get it) but despite having a scheduled admission perhaps just perhaps effort could have been taken to make me feel the hospitality vibe better. I had to express my dissatisfaction and finally admitted to maternity ward, luckily Im a female patient ; 2. Hospital outlook looks amazing after the renovation however rooms needs upgrading for example room bathroom (there was water leaking at the bottom of the toilet bowl) and when it rains heavily which happened during my stay, there was water dripping from the ceiling (luckily the bed next to me was not occupied at that time). Solution at that time is to place a bucket to collect the water. The staff did apologies for the inconvenience caused & I was fine but of course better maintenance is expected. 3. Food: I was admitted in the morning but due to my surgery I was brought in back to the ward in the afternoon and as a result I ticked my preferred food for the next day (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner) and passed to the front desk at night however I did not get my breakfast for the next morning till I informed the nurse at 830am. When I was served the food I was told “dont know what happened to the menu sheet”. Thankfully I had some food with me so I was not too hungry but this is not what I expected so this part of the service can be improved or should I say should be improved. Otherwise no major qualms just a few things to improve which I hope the hospital management will look into to further improve quality. Thank you.
