I would like to express my gratitude to the nurses, sisters, staff, and doctors who assisted me and my family during our medical check-up and treatment at Island Hospital. Thank you to the Customer Service team, especially Ms. Primila and her colleagues, Sister Muru and the team at the I-Health Medical Check-Up Centre. Also, thank you to Mr. David and the X-ray radiology team. Mr. David was very helpful in providing information regarding treatment at Island Hospital. I also wish to thank Dr. Hng Peng Kiat, Dr. Vijaya Barath, Dr. Damian Wong, Dr. Eric Soh, Dr. Chow Chong Check, and all the nurses at the clinic. We are very satisfied with the service provided at Island Hospital. I will definitely recommend Island Hospital to my friends in Manado, Indonesia.

I had my medical check-up at Island Hospital today, 9 July 2025. Overall, the experience was satisfactory. Most of the staff were very helpful, patient, and friendly. However, I would like to highlight one tall, slim Indian lady who was working at the screening area from morning until the afternoon. Unfortunately, she was quite rude, spoke in a harsh tone, and seemed unwilling or unable to be friendly or helpful. Later, her colleague—a shorter lady, whom I believe is named Dowry or Gowry—arrived and provided a much better experience. She was very helpful, patient, and friendly. For someone visiting for the first time, the procedures and rules can be unfamiliar, but she patiently explained each step of the screening process, which made things much easier. Another disappointing experience occurred with a staff member with headscarf assisting Dr. H’ng Peng Kiat on 9 July 25 between 4–5 PM. While the doctor himself was very friendly and patient, the staff member accompanying him was rude and spoke in a harsh, raised tone when I asked about the completion of documents for my reimbursement purposes.
