Dr. Shailendra S Sivalingam is a highly regarded Consultant in Otorhinolaryngology (ENT), Otology, Neurotology, Head & Neck, and Skull Base Surgery at Sunway Medical Centre. He is experienced in treating both adult and pediatric patients with a wide range of conditions related to the ear, nose, throat, head, and neck. Dr. Shailendra is particularly known for his expertise in hearing loss, vertigo, and inner ear disorders, having received international training at the Gruppo Otologico in Piacenza, Italy. He is also a Fellow of the European Board of Otorhinolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery, making him the first ENT specialist in Malaysia to hold this European Board Certification. His qualifications include an MBBS from Manipal, India, and a Masters in Otorhinolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery from the University of Malaya. He is known for utilizing advanced techniques, including minimally invasive endoscopic and 3D exoscopic ear surgery, and he performs procedures like cochlear implantation, and surgeries for skull base tumors, sleep apnea, and thyroid conditions. He won the Marhakim Award for Outstanding Student during his Masters.
