My son was admitted to the emergency department on Wednesday (25.01.23) evening for vomiting fever and body numbness. Fever temperature was 38.1 C taken by medical officer. What disappointed us is Dr. in charge that evening, (emergency department) after checking my boy, he was given 2 Panadol and was put on a drip. We were informed my boy's fever and numbness will be down soon but after more than 30 mins fever was still not down, my boy was shivering badly and suffering from the numbness, my hubby approached Dr. as seeing my boy didn't get any better but Dr. response was my boy is having a fever that's why his body reacted and he was not even concern to go over to check on my boy. My boy's palm was so stiff and the drip can't even flow into his body. We called the medical officer a few times to adjust the dripping tube. After more than 1 hr my boy still shivering badly, we even caution the medical officer there that my boy had fever fits before when he was 3 years old. But no action was taken on reducing his fever. Then my boy was transferred to his room, and the nurse in charge check his body temperature was 38.9 C. She advised my boy to take a cold shower and was given medication prescribed by Doc Tee. Within 30mins his numbness and fever improved. Our question is why when in the emergency department the right medication was not given why did he need to suffer?? Please improve your staff attitude and be more sensitive, caring, and concerned toward patients.

Before consulting Dr.Tee, my wife has been suffering from difficulties in swallowing foods, sometimes foods get stuck in the esophagus and vomitting for quite some time. Dr.Tee has shown great expertise and patience in the treatment process as well as explaining the medical reports, the medication dosage and purpose, and do's and dont's to be observed. By the way, the photos, diagrams and texts in the endoscopy report are excellent in terms of sharpness, clarity and colours which are really helpful in understanding what is going on inside the stomach. Now my wife can eat and swallow foods like normal though at a slow pace but it's a big improvement for her.
