Dr. Mohamad Azim Md. Idris is a distinguished Consultant General and Vascular Surgeon and Head of Department at UKMMC Kuala Lumpur. A pioneer in vascular surgery in Malaysia, he established the vascular unit at HCTM in 2007. He specializes in complex vascular access for end-stage renal disease, limb ischemia, and abdominal aortic diseases, and is actively involved in stem cell research for limb salvage and wound healing. As Course Director for the Vascular Surgery Fellowship Programme, he is dedicated to training future specialists.
