Had an unpleasant experience with Dr Nurul Khairiyah's clinic. While Dr Nurul is an efficient and experienced doctor, not the same can be said about her clinic's staff. I originally had an appointment for maternity checkup on 17/06/2023, which I rescheduled to 19/08/2023 through their online appointment system (I actually rescheduled this back in June). I called the clinic on 15/08/2023 to confirm my appointment with them, only for them to tell me that it wasn't in their system. So what exactly is the point of having an online system? I was then told to just come anyway but was warned to expect a longer waiting time, which was fine with me. At this point I wanted to ask about GL but was rudely hung up on. I called again, but was again not given a chance to enquire since they were cutting me off quite rudely. Eventually I got to ask my question and everything ended fine. But on 18/08/2023, just a day before my appointment, they called me up again to tell me that their GL team has informed them that my insurance wouldn't be able to issue a GL because I haven't reached the minimum requirement of 25 weeks gestational age for me to be eligible for a GL, since I am only 24 weeks along. And for that, I would need to reschedule my appointment for next week. So I went on to double-check their statement with my insurance provider and their own GL team and both parties told me that I am actually entitled to a GL, since my policy states that pregnant mothers of 6 months gestational age and above is eligible to apply. Which got me suspecting they were bluffing to get me to reschedule my appointment since they overlooked it. And the funniest thing is that I actually already had a GL issued yesterday. I've had many other bad experiences with KPJ Ampang Puteri prior to this that I have dismissed (slow admission and discharge procedures, nurses not attending when called many times) but lying to your patient to cover up for your mistake is just unacceptable. If you've made a mistake, there really isn't any harm in owning up to it. Hopefully they can improve on this.

Underwent surgery to remove a huge ovarian cyst with Dr. Nurul Khairiah in Nov 2020. Thank you, Doctor, for accepting me as a walk-in patient at your clinic at that time. Even though it was during the Movement Control Order (PKP), Dr. Nurul's clinic was not accepting walk-in patients. Alhamdulillah (Praise be to God). The operation was successful... Thank you, Dr. Nurul Khairiah. I will never forget you...

The doctor that consult my pregnancy was Dr. Fauziah and attended my delivery was Dr. Nurul Khairiyah. Both was a good doctor and very experienced. The check-up session and consultation given was clear and helpful for first time mom like me. Thanks to Dr. Nurul, my delivery process was very smooth and the nurses that assisted at the labour room also was very good and helpful. Great hospitality from all KPJ Ampang Puteri staff at maternity ward. They’re giving full assistance, support and being friendly to me. All the facilities in KPJ Ampang Puteri was all good and nice. Love the ward and room ambience. The maternity package at KPJ Ampang Puteri is reasonable and affordable, plus I got nice and useful freebies too! Throughout my wife’s pregnancy journey, Dr. Fauziah provided wonderful consultations, and Dr. Nurul Khairiyah was there for my delivery. Both doctors were not only experienced but also incredibly supportive, which was such a comfort as a first-time mom. Dr. Nurul made sure her delivery went smoothly, and the nurses in the labor room were so caring and competent.
