Prof. Dr. Norlaila Mustafa is a distinguished Professor of Medicine and Consultant Endocrinologist with a profound passion for diabetes management. With a medical degree from 1995 and a Master in Internal Medicine from UKM, she further specialized with an MD from Cardiff University in 2006 for her research on insulin resistance. She holds significant advisory roles for the Diabetes Nurse Educator Course, Malaysian Diabetes Educator Society, and the National Diabetes Institute (NADI), and is part of the Ministry of Health's endocrinology training committee. Her extensive research interests include diabetes, obesity, metabolic syndrome, and reproductive medicine, evidenced by numerous publications and industry collaborations.
