Ms Gandhi is very helpful and very patiently explains to me on the discharge process and very friendly as well. Other than this, very big thank you to Dr Maylene who had helped me to find out my diagnosis issue even for my case it is quite tricky. Nonetheless, other doctors and services here are good and comforting as a patient. :)

Dr Maylene Kok was rude, impatient and sarcastic when I ask questions regarding my condition and other option treatments. She acted proud and haughty and goes defensive mode belittle me which I m confused on what she get from being like this. I am not her punching bag nor a place for her to show off I m just a patient in pain in need of treatment. And If I am well aware regarding medical knowledge I wouldn’t have come to see her I would be doctor myself. She even impatient when do body assessing on me with clearly irritated and rude remarks. I was weak due to pain and of coz definitely less focus due to it and light headed, instead assisting me she turn agitated and rudely making sarcastic remarks and ordering me around like I a slave. She action definitely no difference from the bullies with her behavior taking advantage of weak mentally physically attacking me for no reason probably using me as her punching bag. I didn’t argue with her coz I didn’t want cause a scene, she behaved uncivilized but I don’t want mirror her, and no point argue with a narcissist person, and also my condition was bad. I just walk out politely and leave for good. Only the positive note, her nurse, an Indian girl was really polite, helpful and kind. I need address this seriously, U have great doctors like Dr Tang Boon Nee and Dr Lim Boon Ping definitely a stark contrast level of professionalism and passion. No one deserves be someone punching bag more over it’s a person u seek their professional treatment from. It’s really sad a doctor supposedly to assist and treat you instead the one attacking u. Hope hospital management take serious note on this.

My wife had an appointment with Dr Maylene Kok and we're quite baffled by her lack of professionalism and attitude. Her appointment was scheduled at 12.30pm and she got a call from SJMC to ask if she can go earlier which we said we can't. The nurse then said ok, but do not be later than 12.40pm. She arrived at 12.35pm at the nurse counter only to find out that Dr Maylene went for lunch, and only came back at 1.05pm. During the consultation, she gave snide remarks when my wife asked if we could get a prescription as we don't want to come back and wait constantly as this is her second time waiting for at least 30 minutes. She said "oh but you were late today right?" but we were within the buffer provided by nurse. Dr Maylene then said that as patients we need to be early by 15 minutes and wait. When we said no I think we won't come back, she said "better". As a doctor and front office person, I think better EQ is needed and respect of time goes both ways. instead of apologizing for being late, the doctor went on offensive and sarcasm. I've not met such an entitled doctor before.
