We had a very bad experience in Tung Shin Hospital. On 25th April, our grandmother was hospitalised to Tung Shin Hospital to get the CT scan as the doctor from a clinic suspected that my grandmother was having stroke. The doctor that was assigned to my grandmother was Dr.Yap Boon Hung. We were expecting that this doctor would explain the CT scan result, causes, and possible treatments to us. However, we hear nothing from the doctor. The doctor only visited twice but he never explain a single question from us, the time that he stayed in my grandmother’s room was less than 1 minute and when my family members asked him questions, he ignored and walked away immediately. My family members need to chase after him in order to ask 1 question, which is to check on my grandmother’s blood pressure. The second time he visited my grandmother’s room was on 26th April, and his behaviour truly shocked us. He walked towards my grandmother’s, lifted her blanket up, pointed at her tummy and shouted “why did you feed her that good? Look at how fat she is! You shouldn’t feed her nicely!” while my grandmother was begging him to stop as she was feeling cold. Please, as a doctor you should have possess good ethics and right attitude. He walked away immediately after saying such ignorant comments on my grandmother’s body figure without explaining how serious my grandmother’s stroke was. On 27th April, we decided to discharge our grandmother and to send her to another hospital. After knowing our decision, this doctor, Dr. Yap Boon Hung rushed to our room and scold my family members. The words he said next then made our heart broken “If you have no money! Don’t come to Tung Shin!” Can you guys believe it? My family members secretly called us immediately and we heard every hurtful words that he said. We reached the hospital around 4pm and he was still there scolding my grandmother and my family members. My dad couldn’t bear his poor attitude any longer so he argued with him, requesting him to explain my grandmother’s CT scan. He said again “You all got no money then you are not allowed to come to Tung Shin!” To cut long story short, there are two things that we would like to complain: 1. As a patient, we have the right to know the result of the scan or check ups that we had in your hospital. In my grandmother’s case, she is suffering from stroke since 25th April and had her scan done on that day. Why did the Dr Yap Boon Hung explained nothing to us even though we requested him to? Why did he dragged our time for 3 days and charged us RM 220 first visit and RM 450 on follow up visit when he actually did nothing but to say high blood pressure only? (you can check your CCTV and observe how “long” did he visited my grandmother. 2. As a doctor, can you ever scold patient based on how she looks? She scolded my grandmother and said that she is fat. Dr Yap Boon Hung also shouted at my grandmother and my family “if you have no money don’t come to Tung Shin!” When we were just trying to get her discharged and transfer her to another hospital due to his poor attitude and lack of ethical behaviour? I hope this review can get a serious response from your company. There is no single patient should have received such treatment from any hospitals. We chose your hospital as your are famous on Chinese traditional treatment, but not your poor service, poor attitude, ignorance, and lack of ethics doctor. For those who are reading my review, if you would like to hear our bad experience from Dr. Yap Boon Hung, feel free to contact me, I can translate to Chinese, Malay or even Japanese for you.

Dr Yap Boon Hung one of the worst doctor..money minded, rude, patient unfriendly and eager to go home on time instead treating the patient. This is my first and last time i visit this hospital. Your hospital name tarnished because of one rude terrible doctor. I hope God will punish him the worst.

It doesn't deserve a single star. Slow service is fine, I can wait. But the service attitude is abysmal. Especially Dr. Yap B H, the internist. So what if he has 30 years of experience? If we don't understand something, we should ask more clearly. So impatient! Don't be a doctor. It's a disgrace that there are doctors like you in Malaysia. I will definitely file a complaint with the Malaysian Health Department.

Worst experience ever. Remember, get more consultation from other hospitals before letting this hospital operate you. This place is not trustworthy. Beware of Dr. YAP BOON HONG in colon dept. RUDE, GREEDY, AND ABSOLUTE NON ETHICAL DOCTOR. Trying to operate my 80yo grandma as many as possible just to make money. When asked, was told, IF YOU CANNOT SPEND, DONT COME TO TUNG SHIN. Highly highly not recommended to go this hospital.

**A Very Poor Experience** DR YAP BOON HUNG was extremely unprofessional and rude! We had scheduled an MRI scan for 8am yesterday, but the doctor did not arrive until 11:10am (making the patient wait for over 3 hours without eating breakfast). After that, the doctor kept recommending a CT scan and talked extensively about its benefits. He insisted that a physical examination must be done at this facility, claiming that those done at outside clinics, even the most recent ones, were not accurate. They required us to pay at the reception before each step, then proceeded with blood tests and a CT scan, and told us we could pick up the report at 3pm. When we picked up the report, DR YAP BOON HUNG said there were no issues but insisted on a CT scan of the abdomen, again requiring us to pay first. After completing it, they told us to come back at 10am on the next day to get the report and hear the explanation. Upon returning home, my father experienced chest pain, and I noticed that the CT scan report mentioned an assessment of his chest was pending. The next morning, we arrived at the hospital by 10am as scheduled. Fortunately, this time the doctor arrived at 11.30am, we only wait for one hour and half. We asked about the pending chest assessment mentioned in the report, and the doctor claimed he hasn’t seen it yesterday! he hasn’t seen it yesterday! he hasn’t seen it yesterday! * Important things need to be said three times! * Are he kidding ? He is a professional doctor, he told he didn’t seen well yesterday??? After some perfunctory explanation about the abdominal CT scan, he told us to go upstairs for another examination, see another doctor, and pay money again!
