I just need to rant as it has not been a good day. We had a good experience with Dr Ashley who is our gynae from the first day we met her until our emergency c sec. Post that though, our nightmare began. Our son was discharged from the hospital after 2 days. With no findings apart from an additional toe in his left foot, checked by both the pediatrician and orthopedic. Reaching the confinement centre, we were immediately told our son is having limb length discrepancy by the nurse, where the left leg is shorter than the right. Also the presence of clubfoot. It caught us by surprised and we were devastated. Hoping that SMVC perhaps know about it and not tell us probably cos it's nothing to be concerned about. Went back to sunway velocity medical today (after a week of mental torture) and yes, there's issues with the baby's left leg after xray was done. So the question is, why wasn't this caught in their initial assessment by BOTH the pediatrician and the orthopedic at the hospital? It was caught by a nurse in the confinement centre. That being said, it has happened and our aim is to now focus on our baby. P/S: The elevator in this hospital takes forever to wait. Also, based on our very frequent visit, be prepared to wait for a very long time even if you've set appointments. To SMCV's respond below, your customer service have already called me last week. Days before your reply. Maybe you can check first before sending such reply.
