I went in for 2 daycare procedures on the 28.10.24. I must say my experience from the daycare registration counter to the nurses in the daycare were excellent especially Nurse Lim and the Nurse Manager Kala who made me feel comfortable. Admission Counter: Very professional service and friendly staff. Special thanks to Staff Nursharmila for her kindness and efficiency. Ward 3D: All the staff were very friendly, and I had a very good experience here. Thank you for the excellent care. On the day of my operation, I had a not-so-good experience during the transfer from Ward 3D to the operating theatre. One of the nurses from the operation team was rude to me simply because I didn’t mention that I have a seafood allergy. However, she only asked me if I had any medication allergies, which is a specific question and I replied truthfully, “No.” I noticed she checked the system using a laptop before the procedure, and afterward, she spoke to me in a harsh and unfriendly tone. It made me feel uncomfortable, especially since this was my first experience being admitted to a hospital. Despite that, I chose to stay positive, maybe she was having a difficult day or hadn’t had her lunch yet. Still, I hope the hospital can consider sending her to a team-building or communication class, so future patients don’t feel the same way I did. Other than that, the entire operation process went very smoothly. The recovery team treated me with such care that it really touched my heart. Thank you to the recovery team for making my experience meaningful and comforting. I would also like to sincerely thank Dr. Jeevaretanam for the fast and effective treatment. His explanation was clear and reassuring, it felt like a father taking care of his daughter. I am very grateful, and I will definitely recommend him to my friends and family. Big thanks also to the F&B team for the amazing service! Keep those smiles coming and continue serving that delicious food.
