Extremely Disappointing Experience at Sunway Medical Center I am compelled to share my recent experience at Sunway Medical Center, which has left me deeply disappointed and concerned. I was admitted to the hospital on 26/8/2023 due to persistent fever and severe headaches, hoping to receive proper medical attention and care. However, my encounter with Dr. Thiru, the attending physician, was disheartening at best. Despite my evident distress and the history of my symptoms, Dr. Thiru displayed a shocking lack of empathy and attentiveness. Rather than addressing my concerns comprehensively, he seemed fixated on isolated test results. What is even more distressing is the way my insurance claim was handled. The initial claim was rejected, citing "good" blood test results, completely disregarding the fact that my condition went beyond these parameters. My body temperature history during my hospital stay and the prescribed antibiotics stand as clear evidence of my genuine health issues. Upon requesting a resubmission of the insurance claim, I was met with what can only be described as deception. Dr. Thiru failed to authorize the insurance department to resubmit my claim, leading to a cycle of rejection without any sincere attempt to address the situation. This experience has left me questioning the integrity of both Dr. Thiru's professionalism and Sunway Medical Center's commitment to patient care. As a patient, I expected transparency, thoroughness, and ethical conduct. Unfortunately, these vital aspects were sorely lacking in my case. In the interest of future patients and the reputation of the institution, I urge Sunway Medical Center to thoroughly investigate this matter and take the necessary steps to rectify these glaring shortcomings. Patients deserve far better than what I experienced, and accountability is paramount to maintaining trust. It is my hope that my feedback will contribute to improvements in patient care and the overall experience at Sunway Medical Center.

I’ve been admitted in and out of Sunway Medical Centre for almost four years. I’ve been very loyal, but your service and rooms are getting worse! Today, I registered around 12 pm and requested your administration staff to call me when the room was ready, but no one did. When I arrived around 6 pm, I was told that the room had been ready for quite some time, yet no one informed me. I was advised to take a Premier Single Suite since the Premier Single was fully booked. I paid more than usual, yet the room is rubbish! The bed is so uncomfortable I can feel the metal when lying down, indicating how thin the mattress is. The Premier Single provides a comfortable sofa bed for companions, but this Premier Single Suite only has a subpar sofa bed. I’m really disappointed with Sunway Medical Centre. If it weren’t for my follow-up procedures with my amazing Dr. Akhtar, Dr. Thiru, and Dr. Bala, I wouldn’t come back here
