Associate Professor Dr. Wan Zamaniah Wan Ishak @ Wan Mohammad is a distinguished Consultant Clinical Oncologist and Head of the Department of Clinical Oncology at UMMC. With expertise in gastrointestinal, head and neck, gynecological, thyroid, and breast cancers, she excels in non-surgical treatments including radiation therapy, chemotherapy, hormonal therapy, biologic therapy, and immunotherapy. A dedicated academician, she supervises Master of Clinical Oncology and University Malaya Medical programmes, and leads international clinical trials as a principal investigator, contributing significantly to cancer research and publications. Her leadership extends to professional organizations, including the Malaysian Oncological Society and the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
