I just underwent fibroid removal surgery last week at KPJ Specialist Hospital Kajang, and stayed in the Level 5 ward for 6.5 days. My overall experience was great and reassuring! Doctor Asyraf: Having consulted many gynaecologists over the years on the fibroid issue, I can confidently say that Doctor Asyraf is one of the most patient, caring, and knowledgeable doctors I’ve met. Instead of an open-cut surgery, he was able to use laparoscopic + minimally invasive approach, which greatly reduced my fear of recovery and post-operative pain. What truly stood out was his dedication — he visited me every day to check on my condition, even on public holidays and Sundays. That level of commitment and compassion is deeply appreciated ^^ The Medical Team & Nurses: The nurses and medical team were equally wonderful. They are very patient, attentive to details, and quick to respond whenever help was needed. I have experienced surgeries in other hospitals before, but this hospital genuinely made me feel warm, safe, and comfortable throughout my stay (Thank you for providing warmer machine & hot blanket when I was feeling cold) About the hospital: • I am surprised on how committed the team is using KPJ App - it made the entire process, include appointments, outpatient & inpatient matters very clear and well organised :) • Although the hospital is not huge, the facilities are well maintained and comfortable (all guests who visited me like the washroom XD) • I stayed in a standard single ward, and both the room and bathroom were modern and pleasant • Pricing was reasonable for the level of care provided, compared to many well-known private hospitals Overall experience: •Pleasant, professional, and caring. •Highly recommended, especially for those seeking minimally invasive fibroid treatment and a doctor who truly listens and prioritises patient well-being. Under Dr Asyraf, I’m truly impressed with the quality of care I received. He was thorough, attentive, and explain clearly in pleasant way. Highly recommended Dr Asyraf for the ladies out there who has gynea issue. Professional, excellent service and compassionate under his care. Also big thanks to the nurses incharge from 27/10 ~ 30/10 at Ward Tulip 307B then move to 301. All of them are professional, warm, and always ready to assist. Overall, it was a comfortable and reassuring experience.
