I recently spent 2 nights at this hospital and came away genuinely impressed. From the moment I arrived, the nursing team set the tone with their warmth and professionalism. Knowing that I was from KL without any family members in Kota Kinabalu, they checked in frequently without ever feeling intrusive, and never hesitated to answer questions or explain procedures in clear, reassuring language. Their kindness made a stressful time much easier to handle. Dr John Cheng treated me and he too was very warm, and explained my diagnosis clearly. The facility itself is spotless. Corridors, patient rooms, and common areas were cleaned multiple times a day, and I consistently saw staff sanitizing high-touch surfaces. That attention to hygiene gave me extra peace of mind.
