I’m posting this on behalf of my sister, who went through a terrifying experience while receiving treatment at Sunway Medical Centre Ipoh. I hope this can serve as a reference for others. " Admit hospital Sunway IPOH on 23/9/25 Wed .. everything went smooth and waiting for my surgery on 24/9/25. Nurses friendly .. doctors so responsible and environment very good. Everything good until 24 .. operation began 11 am and I was being sent to operation treater and everything getting very well too. After surgery I sent to HDU for observation .. as my memory 4 something I began wake up and I feel a bit pain and I’m pretty comfortable.. after few hours about 7 pm pain come slowly from my surgery parts and more and more pain. After the blood infusion finish and observation I’m ready to send to ward . My pain start from 4 increase to 10. Because I did agree and I have done my Epidural before surgery. I have press many many times to reduce my pain but it never happens.. pain not reducing but increase to 12. My sister very inpatient to see me in pain and press bell and call nurse for so many many times but pain still remain. Nurse did check Epidural machine and they said medicine went well and nothing wrong. But when I press the painkiller the pain is still the same and not reducing. The pain is so unbearable.. nightmare and u can’t imagine how torture that night until I request for more injection,sleeping pill or whatever can help me. After 2.5 hrs pain like hell finally doctor cheah come and save me from hell .. she give me inject painkillers and I relief and god thanks. Finally we know that the Epidural have been accidentally fallen out and all the time I press press press is went outside of my body. The painkillers from Epidural is OUT .. what ? Why ? This simple and stupid thing can happen and it happens to me .."
