Dr. George John is a distinguished General and Thoracic Surgeon renowned for his pioneering work in thoracic surgery and advanced techniques. He holds a special interest in Uniportal Lung Surgeries and Surgical Stabilisation of Rib Fractures, having performed the first Uniportal Video Assisted Thoracic Lobectomy at Hospital Kuala Lumpur in 2015. As Head of Thoracic Surgery at Hospital Kuala Lumpur (2013-2016) and currently Head of General Surgery at Prince Court Medical Centre, he demonstrates significant leadership. His expertise is further recognized by his appointment to the Advisory Board Faculty of the Asia Pacific Region for Surgical Stabilisation of Rib Fractures and his role as an adjunct lecturer and examiner. A Fellow of the International College of Surgeons and the Academy of Medicine Malaysia, Dr. John is committed to advancing surgical education and patient care.
