My husband underwent a CABG surgery here, and the operation was very successful. These five stars are for Dr. John Chan Kok Meng. Thank you to the doctor for his superb medical skills and his very friendly and kind demeanor. I sincerely recommend this doctor 🩷 The hospital's meals and ward hygiene were also excellent. Unfortunately, during the hospital stay, the experience was truly terrible. In the first two days in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), due to a nurse's negligence, my husband's condition became critical. The nurse was also forced to work overtime due to the mistake. No one informed the family about this incident. My husband only told me after being discharged today. Fortunately, he passed through safely 🥲 When I visited the ICU on the second day, I noticed that the emergency call button was not placed within the patient's reach. I asked the nurse, and she walked to the counter opposite the bed to retrieve it before placing it by my husband's side. Is this the standard of a professional nurse? I was speechless 😵 My husband mentioned today that on one occasion, he wanted water and called out to the nurse outside the door several times, but no one heard him. After major surgery, he couldn't shout loudly, and he didn't have the emergency call button nearby. He had to tap his cup on the bed to get the nurse's attention. Hearing these helpless actions truly broke my heart for him. After enduring the ordeal of major surgery, he was treated like this by the nurses! 😤 After the third day, he was transferred to a regular ward. Some night nurses, disregarding the patient's need for rest after surgery, were making loud noise and chatting outside the counter in the middle of the night. They also slammed doors several times very rudely, disturbing the patients' rest 😩 However, some medical staff and nurses were still very friendly. We cannot generalize and condemn everyone. I hope the hospital administration can make timely improvements. Finally, I want to thank Dr. John again. Compassionate and skilled, he is truly the one 👍👍👍

I have been to the CVSKL clinic since 2020 when Malaysia was in lockdown, I came to CVSKL looking for Dr. John Chan to perform mitral valve surgery, I stayed at CVSKL for 1.5 months, the hospital service was very good, I did outpatient treatment at Dr. John Chan's clinic, in Indonesia we also recommend many friends, relatives to come for treatment at CVSKL to Dr. John or Dr. David Chew, the process of preparing documents to the results of the examination, or our registration is always assisted by admin Sharon at Dr. John Chan's clinic, every 6 months I return to check with Dr. John and are always helped to prepare our files and data from Indonesia to be printed when we are going to see the doctor, today, November 11, 2025, Mr. Suwanto returned to Dr. John Chan for treatment, it turns out that Sharon is no longer working at the clinic. We still have Sharon's contact and she still helps with our health data and documents. Mr. Sahid's patient service is still the same from when I first met him in 2020 until now, his service is still just as good, it hasn't changed... Sharon & Mr. Sahid are the best service at CVSKL

Good experience here. My father had a mitral valve surgery here in 2020 with Dr John Chan. The doctor is very nice, clever, and patient. He handled my dad very well and always explain everything clearly. The staff named Sharon is also really helpful, always quickly responds to our inquiries and very friendly. She used to arrange my dad’s appointment from 2020-2025 and always reminded me one week before the appointment. Sharon always gives the best service. Overall I am satisfied with the service and treatment here. Will definitely recommend this hospital to our friends and relatives 👍🏻

My mom have had valve surgery with Dr John C recently. Dr John is highly professional and attentive to patient as well as us, the patient’s family. Dr John’s clinic assistant- Ms Sharon has been providing necessary support, make arrangement and respond to every query we have. This extra miles efforts has make us feel comfortable. The nursing team here are well trained and provided my mom care support during her hospitalisation. Customer service team also provided us good advices and fulfilled our needs. Parking could be a problem as half the lots are reserved for valet. Discount given for all patient but that is heavy for inpatient as we tend to stay longer time. Overall, this is a good hospital with professional doctors and top support teams.
