Asst. Prof. Dr. Ismail Ibrahim is a distinguished Consultant in Clinical Haematology and Internal Medicine, recognized for his pivotal role in establishing and enhancing haematology services in East Coast Malaysia. With extensive training in Ireland, he brings broad expertise in general and malignant haematology, including haemostasis and thrombosis. A key achievement includes designing the acute pulmonary embolism treatment pathway at HTAA. He is instrumental in developing comprehensive clinical haematology services at SASMEC @IIUM and IIUM Medical Specialist Centre, leading the Haematology Unit and contributing significantly to medical education.
