Dr. Kannappan A/L Palaniappan is a highly respected and experienced Obstetrician, Gynaecologist, and Fertility Specialist at Sunway Medical Centre with over 30 years of experience. He is a graduate of Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) and holds a Fellowship in Reproductive Medicine from Singapore. Dr. Kannappan is certified by the Ministry of Health Malaysia as a subspecialist in Reproductive Medicine and has received specialized training in male infertility management and microsurgery at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio, USA, advanced laparoscopic endometriosis surgery at IRCAD in Taiwan, and robotic surgery (da Vinci Surgical System) training in Hong Kong. His areas of expertise include IVF, male infertility, minimally invasive surgery and Da Vinci robotic surgery. He is also a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), actively involved in research, presenting at medical conferences around the world. Dr. Kannappan is fluent in English, Malay, and Tamil.
