My father had dengue and hospitalised 8 days in Assunta …I personally experience assunta hospital emergency team is great. They are quick attend and perform the necessary test upon patient arrived.. the Drs there are professional cardio & physician … big shoutout to HDU department the nurses and caretaker they did a very good job for taking care of the patient … however the nurses in DAHLIA ward were very unprofessional … nurse asked us to wait in ward after confirmation from dr visit saying my dad can discharge but the nurse asked to wait in ward for billing .. we asked 3-4 nurses they told us the same thing WAIT.. until a point we cannot stand as we wait for NOTHING, they just simply ask patient to wait .. I went down to the billing department and settle the bill and take medicine and I went up to the ward ..pass the discharge tag to nurse.. we’ve been fooled by them .. waste our time for almost 2 hours … please give proper instruction to the nurses in this ward as I feel they don’t know what they are doing .. we’re not working there but been hospitalised once before roughly know the procedure but the nurses in this ward ask us to wait like a stupid before discharge .. on top of that, cardiology staff is great and patient towards patient !

It was truly a live time experience, when I was struck by a major heart attack in the middle of the night of 26th Feb 2025. I alerted my wife, and without hesitation, she drove me straight to the Assunta Hospital Emergency ward, as it is the nearest hospital to my house. The emergency's staff team responded to me immediately and did all the necessary procedures to contain the situation first. The cardiologist (Dr. Nicolas Chua) was immediately called in to assess my case in the middle of the night, that's 3:00 AM. I was truly surprised that he can be available at this hour of the day. He assessed my situation and decided to do an emergency angioplasty, the procedures took 2 hours and it went on without any hiccups under his watchful eyes. I spent 3 days in the ICU, 1 day in the HDU and 2 days recovery in the normal ward. During this period in the wards, diligent cares, attentions and understandings were given professionally by the team of nurses in all the wards, even the lady who delivered my meals shown care and concern. Besides the team of nurses, Dr. Nicolas Chua shown care and warm, which one felt these team professionals are truly dependable and trustworthy. Dr. Nicolas Chua and his team saved my life.

Date of stay: 29th April till 2nd May Ward : Mawar Assunta Its my first time ever getting admitted into a hospital, stayed in Ward Mawar under the care of Dr. Nicholas Chua and Datuk Suresh appreciate the constant visits, questions, and time listening to me. Furthermore the nurses played a critical role In my recovery, the nurses were very compassionate, respectful and attentive. They were very responsive to the call bells when I needed them, they showed confidence in handling the IV drips and medication administration very attentive The nurses kept me informed of my tests and procedures for the day and were very supportive in preparing me for them, FORTRANS wouldn't forget this drink. I'm truly apprective to the nursing team in Ward Mawar; and a shout of to the ones below.. Vani, Fatin, Thaksheana and Kausaliya keep it up girls..
