Dr Lee Soon Han

Dr. Lee Soon Han is an Emergency Medicine Specialist at Sunway Medical Centre, Sunway City. He holds an MBBS from the International Medical University (IMU) and a Master of Emergency Medicine (M Em Med) from the University of Malaya (UM). He is registered with the National Specialist Register of Malaysia in Emergency Medicine. Dr. Lee is the Head of the Accident and Emergency Department and played a key role in establishing Sunway Medical Centre's Children's Emergency Department, the first of its kind in a private Malaysian hospital. This department is designed with specialized zones (green, yellow, and red) to provide the appropriate level of care, including dedicated bays for asthma patients and advanced equipment for resuscitation. Dr. Lee is proficient in English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, Cantonese, and Hokkien, which makes it easier for him to connect to a lot of patients. He is focused on general and emergency care for adults and children, resuscitation, and point-of-care ultrasound. He also holds certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support, and Pre-hospital Trauma Life support. He is member of several professional bodies, including the College of Emergency Physicians, Academy of Medicine, Malaysia.
