I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to the Dr Chen Yoke Chuan, Dr Seow Chu Tai and entire nursing team in Ward 3C and OT department for the excellent care during my daughter stay here. Without a doubt, this is the best team I have ever experienced. Every nurse and hospital aide, I encountered was compassionate, attentive, and professional, making my daughter recovery process much smoother. A special note of appreciation goes to Dr Chen Yoke Chuan (Obstetrician & Gynecologist), who I truly consider my daughter lifesaver. Surgery (Laparotomy left ovarian cystectomy under GA) went successfully and my daughter can smile again. He took exceptional care to my daughter during pre-surgery and post-surgery recovery. Thank you for the best treatment Doctor 👍. Thank you once again to the Doctor Chen, Doctor Seow, entire team at Ward 3C and entire team at OT department for your exceptional service and kindness 🌹.

I was admitted for 5 days from November 25th to 29th after a consultation with Dr. Seow (General Surgeon). Best GS in town 🫡. Currently in the follow-up phase for recovery. The hospital's parking area is spacious. There are buggy facilities to get to the lobby from the parking. So even if parking is far, there's no need to walk, especially for sick individuals, the elderly, or those with disabilities. The ward is very comfortable, perhaps because the building is still new. All facilities are indeed top-notch. The hospital staff are very, very helpful, and the nurses are excellent at looking after patients' welfare. I was very well taken care of during my 5 days here. Takaful claims were also smooth. The process for applying for a Guarantee Letter (GL) and so on was handled quickly. No long wait to be admitted. Overall ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for this hospital.

I am a doctor in the UK and recently visited Ipoh. While in Ipoh, I accompanied an elderly relative to Perak Community Specialist Hospital due to worsening of a chronic medical issue. We consulted Dr Seow Chu Tai, whom we have never met before. He had a laid-back approachable manner, but yet attentive to detail. He had an excellent whole-person holistic consulting style, pragmatic and patient-centred. I felt he balanced the issue of clinical “needs” and consumer “wants” extremely well, especially within a private sector healthcare setting. His management plan was sound and sensible. There was some waiting around for investigations and interventions to be done which was to be expected in a busy hospital. Overall, care was provided promptly with patient and carers kept abreast every step of the way. Despite being rushed off his feet, Dr Seow seemed to give an impression he has all the time in the world when we were sitting in front of him. Extremely commendable. We were also involved with the hospital’s Wellness Centre as part of the management pathway. At the Centre, we were looked after by Yuen, the unit Sister/Manager. This is a person with infinite patience and seemingly time, despite the unit being quite busy. We were extremely grateful to her for her care and support throughout the whole process. Our experience of the few hospital departments we were involved in was extremely positive. I hope the hospital funding structure is sustainable given the extremely competitive private healthcare sector in Ipoh. They certainly seemed to be striving hard towards their mission of “Affordable Quality Healthcare”. I wish the hospital and the individuals mentioned in this review the very best.

My dad having his operation here, we are stayed here for total 3 nights. Personally me and my family are satisfied with overall service that PCSH provided to us. Doctor Seow is kind hearted person. On first day we were waited for long in order for my dad get admit to operation theatre. Nurses around all are kind and friendly. We took single room and is spacious enough for my dad and my family. However patient ward will need a little touch up and maintenance in order look in good condition. Canteen they serve reasonable price of meal for people. Operation fees and other charges are also reasonable for us. Keep up the great work. Thank you.
