Dr Sheikh Anwar Bin Abdullah

Dr. Sheikh Anwar bin Abdullah is a highly experienced Medical Gastroenterologist at Sunway Medical Centre in Malaysia. With over 27 years of experience, he specializes in a range of advanced procedures including balloon enteroscopy, capsule endoscopy, endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), liver biopsy, and both therapeutic and diagnostic endoscopy. He received his MD (1996) and M. Med (2003) from the National University of Malaysia and completed a Fellowship in Gastroenterology in Singapore (2011). Dr. Sheikh Anwar is actively involved in the medical community, holding memberships and leadership positions such as being a member of the Malaysian Society of Gastroenterology and Hepatology (MSGH), and previously the President of the Healthy Tummies Advisory Board (2011) and Honorary Treasurer of the MSGH (2011-2013). He is fluent in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
