I admitted my aunt at ReGen on 22 January 2025 for a fractured hip. She had been at Pantai since 4 Jan and a bone traction was put in place on her right calf, and basically, we chose ReGen as the place for her to have focussed rehab. Everyone, from our first experiences with Mathi and Belle, and to all the doctors (Tunku Muzzafar, Dato Dr JK Lee, the MO Dr Sean), the staff and other nurses (Badrul, Zati, Hanna etc), the physiotherapist (Ms Siew), have been a joy and have been very supportive, for what will be a rather long stay here, on my aunts journey to recovery. All this, notwithstanding the ongoing renovation works, which, to be honest, can not be heard by us here on Level 2.

The name ReGen Rehab Hospital will always be etched in my memory as the hospital that has made me whole again after my stroke episode. I came in traumatised, distressed and sad as a hopeless soul, but i have emerged as a horse-riding warrior riding furiously to her victorious goal - RECOVERY! My deepest appreciation to the matriach, Madam Mary Chen and her partner Mr Victor Chia for opening such a renowned hospital where the sick will be able to claim a new lease of life. My heartfelt thanks to the medical staff especially Dr. Tunku Muzaffar Shah and Dr. Shaun Chia for rendering me unwavering hope that I can return to my happy chirpy life again. My heartfelt appreciation too to the physiotherapy department especially Miss Chelvi, Ms Rubini, Cik Ezatty, my faithful physiotherapists Hanis, Wythen, Jenny Yau and a host of dedicated physiotherapists who have made my sessions enjoyable, bearable but tough though. To the managerial and dietary staff, Katherine, Yap Lai Yin, Miss Bella... thank you for patrolling the floors daily to make sure we are happy and well fed. My heartfelt thanks also to the nursing staff who have showed so much patience and care... you make us feel so loved despite our ailments. And last but not least the janitors and house keepers for keeping the hospital spotlessly clean. To the guards, syabas!! for guarding our safety in and out of ReGen. To one and all wearing the ReGen logo, I salute you folks for your contribution in making us face life again with dignity and pride. Thank you again.
