Admitted for Acute Bronchitis – Truly Grateful for the Amazing Team at KPJ Sentosa (27 June – 3 July) I was diagnosed with acute bronchitis and was advised to be warded. Everything went smoothly at the Emergency Department — the Medical Officer (MO) completed my registration, and although I had to wait a bit for my insurance (GL) approval, the process was handled professionally and with care. While waiting to be sent to the ward, Dr. Thein Soo Soon checked on me. Such a humble and kind doctor — I really appreciated his calm and clear explanation. After that, I was admitted to Ward Level 5, and even though it was late at night, I was warmly greeted by the staff nurses. Their hospitality and humility made me feel at ease from the start. During my stay, Dr. Nurashikin Mohammad also attended to me — both doctors were very thorough in explaining my condition and treatment. I’m very thankful for their care and professionalism. Now, to the amazing staff nurses of Level 5 — I genuinely won’t forget you all. I truly appreciate everything you did for me during those 6 days, even if sometimes you had to “disturb” my sleep just to remind me to take meds or do my nebuliser therapy 🤣 (just kidding — no hard feelings! 🤭). Special thanks to: Miss Edda, Mimie, Ayumi, Shafiqah, Batrisya, Husna, Nurazen, Arienna, Tan, Amutha, Hemalatha, and Daniela. Apologies if I missed anyone’s name — I may not remember them all, but I’ll never forget the care you all gave. And sorry if I was a bit annoying sometimes… I was just too bored! Hahaha 😄 Also, big thanks to my physiotherapists Ms. Tan and Ms. Nabilah — your breathing therapy really helped me recover. Shoutout to the housekeeping team as well..always keeping my room clean and fresh. And the meal service..on time and consistent every day. It was a really good experience here at KPJ Sentosa. Wishing all the best to everyone, especially the wonderful nurses at Level 5. You all are amazing 😝❤️ Sincerely, Patient from Room 501 🫶
