Mom had a CT scan of the abdomen for 1.4k. Blood tests were required because Mom is already 70 years old. When setting up the IV line at the emergency department, it was difficult to get it in. So they asked if an anesthesiologist could do it, but it would cost an additional RM350 or so. We agreed. Everything went smoothly, thank God, and the service was excellent. When it was time to pay, we were surprised because it only cost RM1.2k+ in total. Alhamdulillah, there was even a discount from the anesthesiologist and the hospital. Recommended for being affordable and having excellent service.

I was referred to the hospital for further examination and immediately taken to the emergency room. There I was examined by a nurse (Ms Zuraini) and other nurses on duty. I went through an ECG test and a blood sample was taken and then treated further by Doctor Ms Ponnarasi. I was advised to be admitted to the ward and examined by a Cardiologist (Dr. Sathvinder) I was in Ward 97 and was looked after by several nurses who were all very disciplined always smiling while doing their job and one of the nurses is Ms Shashi(MD2).Dr. Sathvinder also took great care to explain my condition after undergoing several CT scans, X-rays, Echo Tests and StressTests. I am very satisfied with the service provided by all the hospital staff who helped me when I was there on 15/03/2024 till 16/03/2024. thank you and I hope Columbia Setapak Hospital will continue to provide excellent service. Came to the ED after my son had a deep laceration wound with so much bleeding. The staff were so accommodating and comforting. Credits to Dr Ponnarasi, Emergency receptionist Habibah and her team, Radiographer Akmal and the nurses whom we weren’t able to get their names. They were really professional with their communication and examination despite handling a full ED. 5 stars for the staff and the service here! Rating this as a 4 star because I hope management can look into the registration PROCESS. The receptionist was clearly handling more than just registering patients. We arrived at 9.20 but only got registered at about 9.45pm despite only having 2 ppl before us. I was really anxious because my son’s head was still oozing blood so the receptionist kindly called the nurse out to help assess his bleeding despite us still waiting to register. Really hope the registering PROCESS can be revised. Thanks again ED Columbia Setapak for the excellent service.
