Ms Michelle Chong Hui Yi

Ms. Michelle Chong Hui Yi is a Clinical Psychologist at Sunway Medical Centre. She holds a Bachelor of Psychology (Hons) and a Master of Clinical Psychology, both from HELP University. She is a registered Clinical Psychologist with the Malaysian Allied Health Profession Act and a member of the Malaysian Society of Clinical Psychology. Ms. Chong specializes in psychological distress and psychopathology for all ages, offering psychological and psychoeducational assessments, parent skills training, and child behavior management. Her therapeutic approach primarily utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), but she also incorporates techniques from Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Person-Centered Therapy, and Existential Therapy. She is experienced in working with individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders, learning difficulties, and a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression and trauma, and is proficient in English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
