Just a little sharing of my experience with Dr. Mallina, a few months ago i went to her as a second opinion. I went to many other ENT doctors and they told me i need to remove my tonsils as well as get a deviated nasal septum surgery. But when i went to Dr. Mallina, she didn’t force me into getting my tonsils removed and i felt super comfortable with that fact (because definitely who like a pushy doctor?). She was really patient with my guiding me through every step as well as her nurse Noor! After the surgery during my healing period on the second week when we got the stitches and everything removed from inside my nose. I couldn’t be happier to be able to breathe (literally jumping in joy like a baby). I am so thankful to have gotten this surgery done from the best Doctor ever! She was so gentle even when removing the stitches (literally zero pain) so comforting! Thank you so much. 10000% recommended 🥰! Also she was on time for every appointment and even the surgery (which most doctors aren’t and it makes me very frustrated).

Dr Mallina is a very professional, kind and soft spoken ENT doctor I have ever met. I have done my sinus surgery with her and nose blockage no longer friend with me! My migraine attacks is even better after that. All your doubts will answer by her patiently. She is willing to help and guide you in all your concerns to turn you into a better one. 🥰 thank you so much doctor!

We visited this lady on 12 December. My wife's ear was blocked and there was a ringing sound. This seriously disrupted her sleep and comfort. We explained this to her and she immediately proceeded to scope both ears and removed all the wax. There was very little conversation by way of elaborating about what she was doing. She made no effort to provide any explanation whatsoever throughout the procedure. After that, she provided no advice on post toileting care, no mention about not getting the ear wet, etc. My wife googled this and discovered later that because there was no longer any wax in the ear, she should be careful not to allow water into the ear for a few days or it could cause an infection. The lady did not caution us about this. What is the point of paying such high fees to a specialist if she has to google to get the information. Isn't it her duty to properly advise her patient pre and post treatment?? She should have provided her with the proper advice and comfort level. Suffice be it to say that throughout our interaction, she spoke very little and her bedside manner was very distant and poor. We paid the bill and left. After the said treatment, my wife continued to experience some shuffling and heartbeat sounds in the ear. I thought it would settle in time but she continued to experience it after 3 weeks. So I called to seek her advice. I first called her on a Friday afternoon, her nurse informed me she was doing surgery. She did not return my call thereafter. I called again on Monday twice and then again on Tuesday. Her nurse was also most unhelpful and unfriendly. Finally, I managed to speak to her 5 days later. I told her candidly that as our doctor, I had expected a more expedient response from her. Whereupon, she rudely told me, that it was not obligatory for her to return my call. This incensed me and I gave her a piece of my mind. I have never ever heard this type of response from any doctor in my life and can only surmise that she does not take her responsibilities for the continued wellbeing of her patients seriously. She advertises a WhatsApp number on the internet which goes directly to her clinic but takes the position that she is not obliged to answer. From this I can only assume, the phone number is to solicit new patients and take their money but once she has taken your money, you're on your own. So much for the hippocratic oath!! Definitely not worthy of the 5 star rating on Google!

My wife and son received exceptional care from Dr. Mallina and her team. When my wife faced a serious ear drum issue, we consulted Dr. Mallina after our initial doctor recommended open-cut surgery. Thankfully, Dr. Mallina's expertise offered an alternative solution. Following her guidance, a successful minor operation led to my wife's full recovery. My appreciation for Dr. Mallina deepened when my son experienced a similar ear drum tear due to a prolonged cold and ear infection. Once again, Dr. Mallina's skillful approach resulted in his complete recovery. Dr. Mallina's professionalism and magical touch have left me thoroughly impressed. I am grateful for the outstanding care she provided to my wife and son, making a significant impact on their health. For those in search of an ENT specialist blending expertise with compassion, Dr. Mallina is undoubtedly the right choice.

My favorite ENT doctor at Thomson. Kind friendly and takes away my anxiety. Saw her 5 yrs back for sinusitis. After surgery I have been perfect. Can sleep like a normal person and better my wife does not complain anymore. She is definitely the best ENT surgeon in Malaysia and my go to dr. I’m actually reposting this because not sure where the other rating I gave as gone. Once again Thank you Dr Mallina.
