I went to the emergency department at Sunway Medical Center due to extreme stomach pain from what I suspected was severe gastritis. The first doctor I saw wasn’t very helpful and didn’t provide much clarity about my condition. Thankfully, I was given the option to see another doctor, and that’s when I met Dr. Mohd Khalis. Dr. Mohd Khalis was incredibly patient and took the time to explain everything clearly. Instead of making assumptions, he ordered blood tests first to rule out other potential issues, which gave me confidence in his approach. When my results came back normal, he then referred me to a gastroenterologist for a scope, which finally helped identify the real problem. What stood out the most was his reassuring attitude. He didn’t just focus on the medical side of things—he also made sure I felt heard and understood. His words and calm demeanor gave me hope and helped ease my anxiety, which made a huge difference in such a stressful situation. I’m truly grateful for his professionalism and kindness.
