Associate Professor Dr. Sujaya Singh is a distinguished Ophthalmologist and Cornea Consultant at UM Specialist Centre (UMSC), specializing in Cornea and Anterior Segment diseases, with a keen interest in paediatric corneal conditions and lamellar surgeries. Her academic leadership includes roles as Coordinator and Acting Head of Ophthalmology at the University of Malaya, and Head of the UM Eye Research Centre. Dr. Singh has authored 23 peer-reviewed articles and secured research grants, alongside receiving multiple Excellence Service Awards and achieving Distinction in her Ophthalmology Masters Examinations. She is dedicated to mentoring students and providing patient-centric care with emphasis on patience, particularly for young patients and their families.
