Meet Dr. Suraya Hanim Binti Abdullah Hashim, a dedicated Consultant Physician and Infectious Diseases Specialist at Sunway Medical Centre. Holding both a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and a Masters of Internal Medicine (MMED) from the University of Malaya, Dr. Suraya provides expert care in managing a wide spectrum of infectious conditions. Her international experience includes a Fellowship in Infectious Diseases through a program involving the Ministry of Health (MOH) and the Royal Melbourne Hospital in Australia, enhancing her expertise. Dr. Suraya specializes in general infectious diseases, tropical infections, HIV/AIDS, travel medicine, and infections affecting critical care patients, surgical patients, and those with compromised immune systems.
