Prof. Dr. Mazlina Mazlan is a pioneering rehabilitation physician in Malaysia, specializing in brain injury rehabilitation. As the first Malaysian with a fellowship in this area, she leads the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Unit and chairs the National Conjoint Board for Rehabilitation Medicine. Her expertise includes Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), stroke, and advanced neuro-stimulation techniques such as Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation (TDCS) and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS). She has significantly expanded neurorehabilitation services and is recognized internationally by the World Health Organization (WHO). With extensive research, over 50 supervised postgraduate students, and securing over MYR 2.5 million in grants, she is dedicated to early and continuous patient care, addressing both visible and hidden disabilities.
