Inpatient admission date 3-4 September 2025 Ward 4B room 4324-2 admid under Dr.Lau Choon Ping This is the worse experience hospitalisation in my life 1) Admission process take 6 hr until patience get treatment Register at the admission 2.30 pm get the bed 5 pm= 3.30 hrs Get the bed 5 pm waiting on the bed, no treatment, no check in pre-check from the nurse on the ward and wait until 7.30 pm receive 1 tab of Panadol =2.30 hrs In total admission process take 6 hrs. 2) Discharge take 8 hrs to proceed I was informed the nurse in the morning 9.30 am that after the treatment finished I want to check out and request to remove the needle. 2 pm get discharge at 5 pm total waiting 8 hrs I have not yet removed needle and has been told by not so polite nurse to just wait to see the doctor first before discharge. I said I don’t want to wait because I don’t know what I have to do with the doctor since at the morning time he already visit me and take only 2 minutes and did not check anything . 3) duplicate task and repeat unnecessary question Few different nurses come to me at the evening when I get the bed, the 1st take patience history I have explain all clearly she note down and go. The 2nd nurse came ask almost the same set of question, i don’t want to repeat and inform her that I have been provided all input to the 1st nurse. 4) at my bed, there is no patient name, there are the feedback Qr code to scan but the portal could not proceed. 5) Low Quality of services. The HCP and all nurses provide service without empathy, bad attitude and low EQ, no services mind, no hospitality mid-set. Not well trained. Overall services make me feel like I’m bagging for your treatment while I pay at the private hospital price. 6) During the treatment I had a physiotherapist treated at Rehap section, the therapist are seem too busy to pay attention to my pain area, without asking they proceed treatment on my left shoulder while I have a serious pain on my right . I have to tell them to get the right treatment at the right area. 7) I stay in the room with 2 bed, because I was told that Single bed is full. After get the bed I have ask my request again to the nurse that I want to change the room if the single bed available , the nurse acknowledge with a very poor attitude. And never comeback to update me whether I get the room or not. So I have to stay in the 2 bed. The equipment which is using with another bed keeps ringing with noise very often, it takes more than 5 min for the nurse to come in and settle. The noise keeps ringing all night, I really can’t sleep. 8) At the beginning I have decided to stay for treatment for 2 night but after all unpleasant event that cause me inconvenience to continue treatment, i change my mind and decide to discharge after see the doctor in the morning. I was informed the nurse at 9 am that after finished treatment I want to discharge, 11.30 am I finished treatment and inform the nurse again I’m ready to discharge. 2pm I ask the nurse again that I have been waiting for few hours, what’s take too long. The nurse said we have to wait for the doctor, I ask do you know do I have to wait until what time, the nurse said don’t know. I said if you don’t know then I don’t want to wait for the doctor, please just proceed discharge, the nurse said to me with a very bad attitude that because I have told the doctor to discharge tomorrow not today. She mentioned seems the delay discharge cause from me change my mind at the very last minute…..which I have informed them since 9 am in the morning. 9) I see in efficiency in the process almost everywhere since registration, admission ward and administration. I‘m not sure what are the criteria of the best hospital that Sunway medical received. But in the customer/patience perspective you require a lot of improvement. And if the nurse and all the staff are in short headcount, lack of proper training, unnecessary process which is take super long waiting time. As you claim as the best private hospital in Malaysia, I didn’t see any prove of this.

First time visiting SunMed Orthopaedics and saw Dr. Lau Choon Ping for a medical check-up. The doctor said my bones are fine and provided clear explanations. The staff were also friendly.

I would like to compliment all sunway hospital staff Tower C throughout my stay and Diana Ann portal who is very helpful and very friendly and dedicated doing her duties .Dr Lau Choon Ping my attending doctor one of the best doctor.. iman and ahmad syukri for doing my physio and Azrina & aniz suraya for sending me a meal breakfast lunch and dinner with a smile without fail.. wish i could remember everyone name and write it down here.Sunway Hospital is the best hospital and will always be my number ONE CHOICE !!! Thank you Sunway Hospital. Truly recommended.
